QP GROUP joins hands in the campaign to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the southern provinces.
Representative of Binh Phuoc province received the vehicle from QP GROUP.
On August 31st , QP Group organized the handover and operation of a Covid-19 treatment facility in Thoi Hoa Ward, Ben Cat Town to the People’s Committee of Binh Duong province. Previously, the company donated 01 ambulance, worth nearly 800 million Vietnamese dong, to the Health Center of Thu Dau Mot City to support transportation and emergency care for patients, as well as to contribute to the efforts in preventing and controlling the Covid-19 pandemic.
The field hospital is deployed on a 16-hectare plot of land, with a construction area of up to 1 hectare. Initially, the field hospital is ready to accommodate over 1,400 beds and has the ability to expand further. This is a field hospital that QP Group supported by providing the location and building the initial infrastructure, then handed it over to the government for operation. The treatment facility will be used as a quarantine and treatment center for Covid-19 patients and those with positive rapid test results.
Representative of Thu Dau Mot City Medical Center received the vehicle from QP GROUP.
Prior to handing over the field hospital to the Binh Duong Province, QP Group also sponsored several ambulances for healthcare centers in Covid-19 “hotspots” in Tan Uyen Town, Di An City, and Thu Dau Mot City…This is a meaningful gift from the company, reflecting the spirit of community health during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in the locality, with the desire to contribute to timely transportation and emergency care for patients, as well as to better serve the healthcare needs of the people in terms of medical examination, treatment, and health care.
The Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Duong province, Mai Hung Dung, stated that the recent surge in Covid-19 cases has created significant pressure on all fronts, including personnel, treatment facilities, medical equipment, and ambulances, etc. Despite the province putting many field hospitals into operation, the demand has not been met. Therefore, the proactive support from companies like QP Group is a practical and meaningful contribution to the locality during this “critical” time.
The People’s Committee of Binh Duong province stated that the field hospital will be put into operation immediately to manage the number of Covid-19 patients from urban areas with high infection rates, thereby reducing the pressure on the “red zones.”
Established in 2008, in addition to the business activities, QP Group regularly carries out corporate social responsibility and collaborates with local authorities in activities to support the community and those in need, aiming for a prosperous and developed society. The construction of the field hospital is part of the “Small Actions – Big Difference” program that QP Group has implemented recently to support the southern provinces facing difficulties in Covid-19 prevention and control.
